International Active City Webinar - Recording available now

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in collaboration with TAFISA and the non-Governmental, not for profit international organisation EVALEO were pleased to host the inaugural International Active City Webinar which took place on Wednesday 25th January 2023. The webinar was dedicated to exploring innovative solutions for making cities more active and sustainable. With the rapid urbanization, it is more important than ever to create livable and healthy urban environments for people.

Within the rich programme of the day with almost 20 presentations, international experts from LJMU, Evaleo, Tafisa, WHO, UCI, and representatives of the cities of Liverpool, UK and Richmond, Canada to name but a few, presented the latest research and best practices. On behalf of IAKS, Secretary General Klaus Meinel showed inspirational examples from around the world. He focused on „Active Spaces and Active Design: Mobilising Public and Open Spaces“.
