Under the motto “We make Plastic Better”, Polytan will upcycle used plastic and transform it into a synthetic football pitch. Unlike disposable plastics, which are used to keep food fresh for just a few hours, the average lifespan of synthetic turf is 15 years. 

A multifunctional playing field with basketball hoops and two PolyPlay Arena mini playing fields in the popular DFB size of 20 x 13 m have been added recently to Reutlingen’s attractions. The durable PolyPlay S all-round surface in brick red adorns the multifunctional playing field.

As part of the Heidesportplatz’s complete redesign into a family-friendly, multifunctional sports and leisure facility, our Polytan LigaGrass Pro surface with CoolPlus and a cork infill were installed, which is ideally suited for multifunctional use.

After 15 months’ construction time, young athletes in ­Villingen-Schwenningen are delighted by a new artificial turf pitch surrounded by a four-lane running track, three long jump and two high jump runways, a throwing circle for shot put, a small playing field, two beach volleyball courts, three bouldering walls and a calisthenics street workout park. The sports facility features various products from sports surface specialist Polytan.

The company’s sustainability strategy took centre stage at the trade fair. At last year’s FSB, the focus was on various products made from renewable raw materials, like the 100-percent climate-neutral LigaTurf Cross GTzero. This year, Polytan has gone a step further by highlighting its many sustainability activities.

Sportpark Styrum will be a multi-generational and family-friendly sports and leisure park. At the centre of Sportpark Styrum is a multifunctional open-air hall with Poligras Mega CoolPlus, a fully artificial turf system suitable for multifunctional use.
