This year, the focus is on climate and environmental challenges, such as in the congress sessions "Today's design decisions and future-oriented programming" and "Reducing the carbon footprint". Other important trends and topics are "Well-Being", "Active Living", community-oriented design and inclusion. In this context, the upgrading and revitalisation of public space is playing an increasingly important role.
Of course, the topic of "synthetic turf" also has its place in the congress programme. It is about the advantages of synthetic sports surfaces as well as the requirements from the point of view of health and environmental protection.
A special session will take a look at the Australian market, where extensive programmes to support physical activity and sports facility investment are on the horizon on the way to the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Brisbane.
