Who we are

We are creating a new IAKS branch for the UK and Ireland to bring together sport and leisure innovators, architects, operators, local authorities, engineers, consultants, universities, government bodies and a host of others to share best practice and learn from each other. 

IAKS UK and Ireland is open to anyone in the industy who believes in the power of leisure and physicial activity as a force for good for individuals, communities and society as a whole. 

We hold events, seminars and site tours to promote sustainable and high quality indoor and outdoor sports and leisure facilities that are fully inclusive, universally accessible and socially relevant.

Our programme of activities is growing with the aim of sharing cutting edge industry thinking from our countries and overseas to help drive the industry forwards.
