New member: Centre for Sport Facilities and Technology (SIAT), Trondheim (Norway)
The Centre for Sport Facilities and Technology (SIAT) is a research centre located at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the largest university in Norway. Since its founding in 2009, the aim has been to develop scientific knowledge and technological solutions within sports facilities and sports technology, through research, education and dissemination.
The project topics have a wide range. From research on indoor climate in swimming pools, operating a web-based knowledge portal on sport facilities, to textile development and sports aerodynamics.
SIAT collaborates with the Ministry of Culture, The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports.
