The IAKS Switzerland seminar, which will take place on 29 October 2024 in Zuchwil (Switzerland), will offer concepts for the redesign and renovation of pool facilities.

To kick off the event, IAKS President Dr Stefan Kannewischer will outline the current challenges, innovations and development trends in the international environment and their relevance for Switzerland.

In interesting presentations and stimulating discussions, industry experts will present design and business management solutions, including ‘Pool planning in the context of sustainability’, ‘Sustainability in the technical pool operation’, ‘Financing and operating costs of extensions and additional services’ and ‘Concepts of modern municipal pools’. How sustainability can be achieved through multiple use and the utilisation of open spaces in swimming pools will be shown in the presentation ‘Creative off-season extensions - from golf to air domes’. After the talks, participants will be able to visit the air dome at the Zuchwil sports centre before having the opportunity to continue the discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. 

The presentations will be simultaneously translated into French and German.
