On 27 October, the very active IAKS Swimming Pool Expert Circle met at the FSB and IAKS Congress in Cologne with almost all 22 members from twelve countries, some members participated online.
The experts reviewed the final version of the latest paper of the expert circle, the "International pool case studies". This white paper with an introductory article on an effective project approach and the presentation of eleven project examples from ten countries was presented to the expert audience of the International Swimming Pool and Wellness Forum (ISWF) on the same day. The white paper is available free of charge on the IAKS website.
Darryl Condon presented the results of the survey conducted on aquatic facilities provision; these were presented to the professional audience of the ISWF the next day.
The expert panel set out the next activities. The international pool conference in Asker (Norway), which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, is firmly scheduled for 2022. The next document to be prepared by the expert circle will be a recommendation on how to proceed with pool projects.
