Träffpunkt Idrott is held at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg from 17-19 March 2020, being the largest trade fair and conference for sports facilities in the Nordic countries. For the second time, IAKS Nordic is presenting at Träffpunkt Idrott. This year, IAKS Nordic is hosting four seminars at the conference, all of which will be presented in English.
On Tuesday 17 March, the theme of the conference is “Activity – focus on promoting physical activity and thus improving public health”, where IAKS Nordic will presenting the two seminars Outdoor sports – a completely new situation and Activity measurements in sports facilities – booking vs. use.
“Facilities – focus on community planning and facilities/places as a prerequisite for physical activity” is the topic on Wednesday 18 March. IAKS Nordic is hosting the seminar Introductory recreational facilities.
On the last day of the conference, under the theme “Politics – focus on the role of sport in society, such as the intrinsic value of sport and equality and inclusion”, IAKS Nordic is presenting the seminar What do cities do to provide facilities for sports and physical activity for their citizens.
IAKS Nordic General Assembly on 17 March, Gothenburg
On Tuesday 17 March, IAKS Nordic will have the annual general assembly, and there will also be a chance to meet for a drink and networking in the afternoon and evening. More information about the exact time and place will follow at www.nordic.iaks.sport
