On 16 March 2020 Manuel Eickhoff took up his position as Managing Director of IAKS Deutschland e.V. He succeeds Dr Carina Deuss, whom we thank for her three years of service. During her time in office, she played a key role in shaping the image of IAKS Germany.
With immediate effect Eickhoff will be running the office and will be responsible for member services, public relations and the organisation and staging of events. He will discharge his duties in close cooperation and consultation with the Executive Board.
He has an MSc in Sports Management from the German Sport University of Cologne and has worked there as a research assistant at the Institute for Sports Economics and Sports Management.
In his free time he is actively involved at a football club and also enjoys swimming, cycling, travelling and going to concerts.
We are delighted to see this new face at IAKS Germany and wish him a good start.
