The IOC sustainability and legacy commission conducted its 6th - and first ever online meeting - on 5 Nov 2020. The commission reviewed the great progress achieved since the adoption of the IOC’s Olympic Agenda 2020 in 2015 across the areas of sustainability and legacy. Based on these achievements, the commission discussed the new objectives for the upcoming four year period. The objectives will be brought to and approved by the IOC Executive Board in December 2020.
IAKS President Dr. Stefan Kannewischer, who is a member of the IOC sustainability and legacy commission since 2017, said: „I am impressed with the achievements that the IOC has made in sustainability and legacy since 2015 and look forward to them being fully visible to all from the Olympic Games Paris 2024.“
