On April 25, 2019, ÖISS and the IAKS jointly organize the symposium "Allroundplayer sports venue". The cooperation event sees itself as a kick-off on the occasion of the founding of IAKS Austria and as a start of increased efforts for international know-how and contacts for the industry.
Experts from Europe will talk about future-oriented sports facilities, present international trends and exemplary projects and treat the broad spectrum of (public) recreational sports facilities to high-ranking competition facilities as important offers in dense population areas and as key factors in urban planning.
In the afternoon, Dr Stefan Kannewischer, President of the IAKS, and Harald Fux, architect and longtime IAKS member from Vienna, will present ideas and concepts for a national IAKS network in Austria. Subsequently, IAKS Austria is to be formally founded.
