On 12 September, the Swimming Pool Expert Circle met for the third time already for a professional exchange of ideas. This time around, the meeting was held to coincide with the International IAKS Swimming Pool Conference taking place the very next day in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK.
The experts first discussed the current situation in the swimming pool market. The twelve participants from Europe and Canada then moved on to the topics concerning pools in particular for the IAKS Congress and the FSB/aquanale trade fairs. Both events are due to be held in Cologne from 5 to 8 November 2019.
How are pool projects successfully implemented? How can targets be achieved across the entire pool lifecycle? The expert circle took a detailed look at these business issues and plans to write up its basic thinking on them.
Topics concerning operators, architects and engineers were discussed in three sub-groups, before the group joined with participants of the next day’s conference to tour the Hebburn Central multi-purpose facility. The networking dinner that evening in Newcastle proved the perfect opportunity for an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas.
