Ceramic floor tile collection

Sports facility construction is a complex task. Systematic solutions with high design quality are a proven means of accomplishing it. The latest example of this is the brand-new AREA PRO series from the architectural ceramics specialist Agrob Buchtal. The collection satisfies the basic requirement of slip resistance for floor coverings with seven different slip resistance classes, which not only cover wet barefoot areas, such as pool surrounds, saunas, changing rooms, showers, but also “dry areas” frequented with footwear. This means that restaurants, foyers, sanitary rooms, staircases and much more can also be effectively surfaced.

Thanks to modern digital printing technology, a consistent impression is maintained across all variants in support of homogeneity. This enables holistically composed sports facilities of a piece, which are both functional and aesthetically convincing. Numerous formats ranging from the filigree 10 x 10 cm mosaic to the prestigious 60 x 120 cm size and twelve finely coordinated colours offer scope for customisation. They are inspired by earth tones such as sand, clay and basalt, complemented by dark nutmeg brown and soft platinum grey. An important design advantage is that the designs are kept directionless, allowing creativity to unfold unhindered. Other smart features include comprehensive accessory elements such as cove skirtings in four different lengths up to 60 cm, 135 cm wide treads and risers for stairs enabling multi-storey approaches and ceramic shower floors and washbasins that give sports facilities an elegant touch.

Area Pro is already equipped ex works with the groundbreaking Hytect technology. This innovative finishing is based on the effect of light (“photocatalysis”) and gives ceramic tiles revolutionary properties.
