The design exemplifies inclusive and creative en­gagement tactics by an interdisciplinary design team at DIALOG through extensive research and applying the City’s policy guidelines. Bringing green space to the city centre, it provides a place to gather, engage in social activities, enjoy an on-site café, and take in one’s environs from the pedestrian bridge.

Dr Veith Kilberth gives us a preview of an ­academic publication on the inclusion of wheelchair skating in skate parks, due to be published in 2024. It can also be seen as a call to municipalities to take action.
