On 3 December at 6 pm (GMT+1), IAKS Spain is inviting to a virtual round table entitled „The impact of Covid-19 on sports facilities“. The aim is to exchange views and to discuss good and less successful examples, and to point out a forecast for the future.

On 29 November, IAKS Japan is organizing a study trip to the „Minami-Machida Grandberry Park“ in Tokyo. The combination of an urban sports park and a shopping mall is operated under a Public-Private-Partnership. The active design encourages to physical activity; and a green infrastructure allows temporary storage and infiltration of rainwater in response to the climate change.

IAKS Nordic announces its next online event. On 3 December 2020 from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm (GMT+1), the webinar will deal with „COVID-19 and the consequences for sports and leisure activities in the Nordic countries. Which experiences can we bring into the future?“

In October, IAKS Japan had invited experts to give insights about “Places for health and sports” and the “Walkable City”. More than 40 participants took part in each event and learned about optimizing facility usage and the the impact of walking and planning to public health.
