SMC2 Hamburg

Second open-air hall in Hamburg

It is primarily available for school use in the mornings, the sports club based on site takes up courses and training sessions in the afternoons. SMC2's open-air hall is well used all year round and takes pressure off the neighbouring school gymnasium.

Up to the top with SMC2

In the summer of 2021, SMC2 built its first play and observation tower in Prabouré, France. A special highlight is the downslide with an entry at a height of over 30 m. This makes it the highest dry slide in France.

Next-generation playgrounds

The innovative facilities with great heights are places for fun and games, offering excitement for the whole family. They enable parents and grandparents to accompany their children and grandchildren as they explore the world, as the playful, spacious facilities are designed to be cross-generational.

Multifunctional arena built by SMC2 opened

The arena was spanned by an intricate structure of glued-laminated timber and steel covered by a textile membrane. The advantage of this is that the interior of the arena is illuminated with daylight thanks to the membrane’s transparency. By its very nature, the building’s textile roof additionally reduces reverberation and ensures optimum acoustics in the arena.

A new centre for streetballers in Germany has sprung up in the Berlin Prenzlauer Berg district: the basketball courts in the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn sports park have been opened.
