Thomas Waldner is the managing director of the agency Rocktopus Events GmbH and specialises in consulting and implementation of major events in the sports and entertainment business. He gained his years of experience as managing director and project manager of the Donauinselfest (Europe's largest festival with free admission and hundreds of thousands of visitors every year). The focus of his work is on consulting for sustainable events and the provision of infrastructure for large events and sports and event locations. Thomas is co-founder and partner of the Hohe Wand Wiese trail centre in Vienna, Austria's first urban trail centre.
