Which projects will win the IOC IAKS Architecture Prize for sustainable, inclusive and innovative sports and leisure facilities?

The 2025 secret was revealed at the 29th IAKS congress, when the winners were presented at the IOC IAKS Architecture Prizes awards ceremony as part of a festive gala dinner – in the presence of around 300 international guests.

Nine projects received the 2025 IOC IAKS Architecture Prize, while two student projects were honoured for their originality, creativity and forward-looking approaches to sports architecture.

Selected from 69 entries representing 25 countries, the award-winning projects reflect the remarkable diversity and international scope of contemporary sports and leisure architecture. Submissions ranged from New Zealand, Canada and Austria to El Salvador, Finland and Indonesia.
