Danish Sports Confederation gives recommendations for outdoor sports

On April 20, the Danish Sports Confederation (DIF) adapted the recommendations to its specialized associations and sports associations. Outdoor sports without body contact can be practised within the framework of the general requirements and recommendations published by the health authorities and the government on coronasmitte.dk.

The general requirements and recommendations of the health authorities shall be followed, in particular:

  • No more than ten people may gather
  • Keep a distance of 2 meters to other people
  • Hand hygiene. If hand spray is not available: wash hands with soap and water
  • Coughing and sneezing etiquette
  • Stay at home if you have symptoms such as fever, cough, muscle soreness - and go home immediately even with mild symptoms
  • Pay attention to the special risk groups as defined by the National Board of Health
  • If props are used in connection with training and use of facilities (e.g. rackets or golf clubs), personal props are priority. Commonly used props should be cleaned after each use.
  • Clubhouses and shared dressing and bathing facilities are assuminlgy still closed.
