Discuss with IAKS experts the future of modern sports and event venues

Visit the all-new Sport Arena

The day begins at 09:30 at the new Sport Arena Wien. This state-of-the-art, multifunctional sports venue, covering more than 13,600 m², opened in summer 2025 and features three halls that can be used independently, including a central indoor sports hall seating up to 3,000 spectators. With facilities for training and competition in handball, volleyball, basketball, artistic gymnastics, athletics and many other disciplines, it is set to become a hub for grassroots and elite sport.

Additional multipurpose rooms, areas for functional fitness, strength and cardio training, and spaces for sports physiotherapy and sports science underline its holistic approach. Behind the scenes, the arena stands out as a flagship energy self-sufficient project, using geothermal energy, heat pumps and thermally activated building structures.
