How to get there

It takes 60-70 minutes to get from the airport to Asker resp. Baerum.

Oslo Airport is connected to the Oslo region by the Airport Express Train (Flytoget), Vy's inter-city and local trains (formerly NSB), Flybussen Airport Express Coach and the OSL Express bus.

Our suggestion:

Travellers from Oslo Airport can use either the R10/R11 Regional Train or the L12 Local Train. The estimated travel time between the airport and central Oslo is 23 minutes. There are more than 50 daily departures from Oslo Airport to Oslo city centre. Trains leave at intervals of ten to twenty minutes, between 6 am until midnight.

Holmen Aquatics Centre is a continuation of Holmen beach, protecting and reinforcing the site’s natural qualities. The building’s footprint is overlaid with a roof garden that further enhances the experience of the beach with spectacular views. The focal point of the concept of the project by Arkís arkitektar is the activation of the building’s roof as an integral part of Holmen beach recreation area. The grassed roof slopes towards the south and provides an uninterrupted view of Oslo fjord’s islands and reefs.
