IAKS Congress Gold Partner Polytan closes the material life cycle

With the founding of the recycling company FormaTurf, a sister company of Polytan, the material life cycle of artificial turf systems has finally been closed. Now the company will take over the removal and complete recycling of the artificial turf, including the recycling of all its materials, i.e. the infill and the sand.

Restricting PAHs in granules and mulches

The restriction was supported by EU Member States in December 2020 and adopted by the Commission in July 2021. From 10 August 2022, it prohibits the placing on the market and use of granules and mulches as infill if they contain more than 20 mg/kg of the sum of the eight PAHs.

Cooperation agreement

Track producer Conica and the Hungarian Athletics Association cooperate in the field of athletics track research and development. The aim is to equip selected stadiums in Hungary with state-of-the-art running tracks in time for the 19th World Athletics Championships in 2023.

For optimal playing and training conditions, the outdated HIT system of the 2nd division soccer club in Berne was modernised with LED floodlights. A separate training pitch was also given a customised lighting system. The Altis spotlight from Zumtobel's subsidiary Thorn was used for both fields.
