Finland's first hybrid football stadium

A collaborative effort between the City of Tampere, Pohjola Rakennus, and JKMM Architects as part of an alliance, the Tammela Stadium in Tampere covers 13,500 m² and provides high-quality facilities for both residents' sports activities and top-level football experiences for 8,000 spectators. Strong need to foster essential collaboration between health and leisure sectors

Over 100 attendees at ‘Active Wellbeing in Communities’ in Cardiff (10-11 April) discussed solutions for stark health and physical activity issues. The two-day event at the Principality Stadium in the heart of the Welsh capital looked at how sports and leisure facilities can better serve communities. Presentations now available.
